The Lord-Lieutenant was pleased to attend the AGM for the Kent Branch of SSAFA, of which she is President. SSAFA is a wonderful charity which does so much to support those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces and their families. Lady Colgrain presented the Sir James Gildea Award to the winners from the Kent Branch. The Sir James Gildea Award is an internal SSAFA award to recognise exceptional contributions made by volunteers and the best embodiment of SSAFA values.
