The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to present Brigade Electronics with their King’s Award for Enterprise at a special celebratory presentation. Brigade Electronics wins this prestigious Award in the International Trade Category for the second time, the first time being in 2019.

Brigade Electronics is at the forefront of commercial vehicle safety by consistently striving to find new ways of doing things. From the early days of introducing the vehicle reversing alarm to the UK, Brigade has constantly endeavoured to create safe working environments, and has saved countless lives in the process. It is clear to see that Brigade is committed to ensuring that the company is a supportive and respectful place in which to work and it is these values that have led this outstanding Kent company to be the experts in their field.

The Lord-Lieutenant was accompanied by one of her Deputy Lieutenants, Kelvin Holford and her Lord-Lieutenant Cadet, Layana Joshy. Lady Colgrain was very pleased that the Leader of Kent County Council, Roger Gough, was also present at this celebratory occasion. Philip Hanson-Abbott, MD of Brigade spoke about how proud the company is to receive this Award and following the Award presentation, he gave a tour and the Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to have the opportunity to meet with the staff at this Award winning Company.

Congratulations to everyone at Brigade, this Award is so well deserved and we are quite sure it won’t be the last time we are presenting a King’s Award here!
