Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust 40

The Lord-Lieutenant was pleased to join the Chairman of Chatham Historic Dockyard, Admiral Sir Trevor Soar at a Garden Party in the Summer to commemorate the closure of the Dockyard in 1984 and celebrate the remarkable achievements of the
Trust over the past four decades. The 40th anniversary celebration event took place at Commissioner’s House and Garden, the oldest intact naval building in Great Britain.
