Just before Christmas, Deputy Lieutenant, Sir Hugh Robertson, had the pleasure of attending the Freedom of Folkestone Parade by the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles. The Parade took place at Sir John More Barracks and had a Coronation theme, with many on parade receiving the Coronation Medal.
The Parade included a showing from the excellent Brigade Band. Sir Hugh inspected the parade with the Commanding Officer before giving a short address on the importance of marking the Coronation. Thank you and well done to everyone involved in organising this fantastic parade and congratulations to all those receiving their medals.
