Deputy Lieutenant Chris Gilbert was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Bishop of Rochester’s Garden Party.
The annual event brought together people from across the Diocese and wider community in celebration of the many individuals and organisations who give their time and energy to supporting others.
During the afternoon, Chris had the pleasure of meeting many of the inspirational guests in attendance, including the Founder and CEO of FASD Awareness, whose work is helping to raise understanding of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and support affected individuals and families.
The occasion was a wonderful celebration of community spirit, volunteering and service, highlighting the positive impact made by so many people across Kent and Medway.
Our warmest thanks to the Bishop of Rochester and his wife, Toni, for their kind invitation, and to all those whose dedication and commitment to others were recognised during this special event.
