Commonwealth Day 2021 was on Monday 8 March and virtual events took place across the County to mark this important day.
Kent Equality Cohesion Council hosted an online event to celebrate the Commonwealth with speakers from many backgrounds given the opportunity to speak including two of our Deputy Lieutenants, Dr Bhargawa Vasudaven and Mrs Rosemary Dymond. This was a fantastic event with numerous interesting and thought provoking contributions and we thank Kent Equality Cohesion Council for hosting another wonderful event. 
HM The Queen’s message for Commonwealth Day 2021 paid tribute to the positive way that communities across the nations have responded to the pandemic and looked forward to more positive days to come.
