The Lord-Lieutenant was represented by Brigadier Peter Gilbert TD DL at ‘Let Loose’, a celebration event of live music and performances held in Gillingham High Street on 26th July.

The outdoor community-oriented music concert, which featured local bands, dance, children’s choir, a gospel band and other solo artists, celebrated its 5th anniversary this year. The aim of the concert, supported by local churches and businesses, was to bring the community together in a relaxed and musical atmosphere and to offer hope to those that have suffered or are suffering any form of abuse. The event was very well attended, a great success, providing much enjoyment and fulfillment to all those present.
