The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Mr Richard Oldfield OBE DL, representing the Lord- Lieutenant, attended the Autumn Bench Meeting of the East Kent Magistrates’ Bench at Lower Hardres Village Hall, Canterbury, on Thursday 3rd October and presented Certificates for Long Service to those Magistrates who have served for 20 years.
Bench Meetings are held twice yearly in Spring & Autumn and provide an opportunity for magistrate colleagues to meet and share information. Speakers at this meeting were HHJ Mark Weekes, Magistrates’ Liaison Judge Canterbury Crown Court, and Mrs Mary Tuckett, South East Regional Leadership Magistrate and Member of Magistrates’ Leadership Executive.
