D-Day 80 Commemorations in Kent

June 2024 marked the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Normandy Landings. Events took place across the country and throughout Kent. We were pleased to be able to nominate Kent residents including veterans, a D-Day widow, Cadets and representatives from Armed Forces charities to attend the national event in Portsmouth. The Lord-Lieutenant, Vice Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenants attended commemorative events across the County to mark this significant national anniversary.
