As a volunteer vaccinator, Dr Bhargawa Vasudaven DL was invited to attend the Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Health Federation Awards evening held in August, at Dartford Football Club. It was a huge privilege to have joined their vaccination team and take part in the roll out of the mass Covid vaccination programme.
It was a wonderful evening and a fantastic opportunity to thank all those involved – the doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, volunteer marshals, and all the admin staff. It was lovely to see how all the staff and volunteers supported each other.
Thank you to all those involved in organising the evening, and most importantly, a huge thank you to the NHS. We are very fortunate that our NHS is resilient and confident that we will get through the future challenges working well together.
