The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to attend Dartford Science and Technology College‘s Community Day last term where she had the opportunity to visit various projects in the area. She was very pleased to meet with all the students and learn more about their annual community day and what this entails. The community day raises funds for many worthy causes and charities including Ellenor Hospice, Demelza, We Are Beams, Slade Green Food Bank and Mary’s Child. We would like to thank the school for inviting us to support this event and for the good work they are doing in their community.
