The Lord-Lieutenant was honoured to attend the Rochester Cathedral Festival of Remembrance, which this year marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 85th anniversaries of the Battle of Britain and the Dunkirk evacuation. The inspirational evening featured performances by the Eynsford Concert Band, West Malling Community Choir, and the Brompton & Invicta Military Wives Choir, culminating in a moving ceremony of Remembrance with Royal British Legion standards, veterans, serving personnel and cadets.

All proceeds from the event supported the Poppy Appeal, the Army Benevolent Fund, and Royal British Legion Industries. Thank you and well done to all involved in this wonderful evening and a special thank you to Lord-Lieutenant Cadet, Cadet RSM Pani Cochrane who read the Kohima Epitaph.
