The Lord-Lieutenant and High Sheriff were thrilled to host a Service of Thanksgiving for Volunteers at Rochester Cathedral in March. The Cathedral was full to the brim of volunteers from across Kent and Medway and we were so pleased that so many of the county’s wonderful volunteers were able to attend. A huge thank you to everyone at Rochester Cathedral, the fantastic Royal British Legion band, the inspirational speakers from Maya’s Community Support Centre, SATEDA and parkrun, the readers, the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets, and everyone who was involved in making this fantastic service happen. Most importantly, we thank the volunteers for their selfless service and their tireless support of their communities, thank you.
