Deputy Lieutenants attended events around the County to celebrate Windrush 75 and recognise the contributions and achievements of the Windrush generation. Windrush flags were raised in Gravesend and Dartford and a special Windrush 75 flag designed for Kent was raised at County Hall in Maidstone. The Lieutenancy is delighted to have been invited to support and join the celebrations for this important anniversary. We thank the Windrush generation for everything they have done for the County and for the Country.
