The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales to Canterbury Cathedral on Wednesday 25 March for the installation of the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally.
It was a wonderful day for the county, bringing together guests from across Kent and further afield to witness this significant moment in the life of the Church of England. Our thanks go to everyone involved in organising and supporting this historic event, whose efforts helped ensure it was a truly memorable occasion.
The Kent Lieutenancy offers its warmest congratulations to Archbishop Sarah as she begins her ministry, marking an important new chapter for the Archbishopric of Canterbury.
