In February, Deputy Lieutenant, Jane Carey-Harris, represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the Channel Dash Memorial Service in Ramsgate. This special service was organised by Ramsgate Royal Naval Association to give those who took part in the Channel Dash the commemoration and respect that they deserve. The service included a wreath-laying ceremony at the Channel Dash Memorial stone followed by a Service of Remembrance.
