Deputy Lieutenants Andrew Wood and Gill Fargher were delighted to attend the Rainham Community Awards presentation evening at St Margaret’s Church.
The awards celebrated the remarkable individuals, groups and organisations whose dedication, generosity and commitment help make Rainham such a thriving and supportive community.
The evening provided an opportunity to recognise the many people who give their time and energy to improving the lives of others, strengthening community connections and making a lasting difference across the local area.
Particular congratulations were extended to Volunteer of the Year, Daphne Stearn, in recognition of her many years of dedicated service to Rainham Guiding.
Our warmest congratulations to all the winners and nominees, whose commitment, kindness and community spirit continue to have a positive impact across Medway.
