Deputy Lieutenant Dr Bhargawa Vasudaven was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the 12th Annual LET LOOSE Community Outdoor Music Concert and Picnic, held in Balmoral Gardens, Gillingham.
Now in its twelfth year, LET LOOSE Initiative CIC continues to create safe and inclusive spaces through music, arts and community engagement, supporting victims and survivors of abuse, as well as others facing life’s challenges.
The event brought together performers, volunteers, partners, supporters and members of the local community for a day celebrating music, friendship and hope. Dr Vasudaven praised the dedication and commitment of all those involved in delivering the initiative, recognising the positive impact it continues to have across Kent.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together, demonstrating the power of community spirit, collaboration and creativity in supporting wellbeing and fostering social connections.
Our warmest congratulations to Mayowa, her family and everyone involved in organising another successful event, and we wish LET LOOSE continued success in the years ahead.
