The Lord-Lieutenant was honoured to attend the annual Battle of Britain Memorial day Service at Capel Le Ferne. Lady Colgrain took the salute and laid a wreath to honour ‘the few’. Lady Colgrain was accompanied by her husband, Deputy Lieutenant Lord Colgrain and one of her Lord-Lieutenant Cadets, Cadet Flt Sgt Daniel Walters. We would like to thank everyone at the Battle of Britain Memorial for ensuring that this important anniversary is commemorated every year as a lasting tribute to the brave ‘few’ who courageously fought the Battle of Britain in 1940.
