His Majesty The King has honoured two Kent businesses with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise.
Saracen Horse Feeds Ltd is a global leader in research-driven equine feeds, supporting nutritional requirements of horses and ponies. Based in Aylesford, Saracen Horse Feeds is a family owned company with a phenomenal 200 years of experience. The company is currently run by the fifth generation of the founding members.
Scitegrity Limited produce innovative software that makes global chemical regulatory compliance a simple, robust, background process. Based in Discovery Park in Sandwich, a thriving UK science park, Scitegrity Limited was founded in 2011. Their solutions are used by some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies who trust and rely on Scitegrity’s solutions.
Saracen Horse Feeds and Scitegrity have both been awarded in the International Trade category of The King’s Award for Enterprise which recognises businesses who have achieved outstanding growth in overseas sales.


The King’s Awards for Enterprise are for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility. Successful applicants receive a Grant of Appointment and a crystal trophy and are able to fly The King’s Awards flag and use the emblem on marketing materials. They are also invited to attend a Royal reception.
