Deputy Lieutenant Jane Carey-Harris was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Canterbury Sea Cadets AGM on Friday 4 October. It was a particular honour to present a gold burgee to the President, Sir Julian Brazier. This exceptional burgee was awarded in recognition of the work that the Officer Commanding has undertaken with the team to improve recruitment and retention numbers. Lt Col Canon John Morrison, Chaplain (Sea Cadet Corps) Royal Naval Reserve who is the Chairman of the Unit Management Team oversaw the AGM which was attended by parents, volunteers to the Unit, and local dignitaries and organisations.
