Bill Cockcroft DL was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant and perform the official opening of Maplewood Court, a new Care Home as part of the Oakland Care Group. The first resident arrived on 21 June, and the occupancy continues to grow as it proves to be a valuable resource for the wider area. The building has capacity for 72 residents in the residential, memory-care and nursing categories, with a team led by the Home Manager, Jo Mazza. Bill was most impressed with the new building and the facilities and activities on offer for the residents and we are sure that Maplewood Court will be a huge asset to the community.
