The Lord-Lieutenant was very pleased to host an Inter Faith event at Rochester Cathedral in partnership with Kent Equality Cohesion Council as part of Inter Faith Week. Over 30 faith and community organisations from across Kent and Medway came together alongside cadets from Kent Police and the Armed Forces to celebrate unity, respect, and collaboration.
The event recognised the positive contributions faith groups make to local communities and created opportunities for dialogue and partnership. Lady Colgrain expressed her gratitude to all who attended and praised the vital role faith leaders and volunteers play in fostering understanding and supporting communities across the county. A huge thank you to Deputy Lieutenants, the Dean of Rochester, Philip Hesketh and CEO of Kent Equality Cohesion Council, Gurvinder Sandher for this very special event and thank you to all the team at Cohesion Plus.
