A huge thank you to everyone who attended and was involved in the Lord-Lieutenant and Kent High Sheriff’s Volunteers Service at Rochester Cathedral last week. It was an absolutely fantastic evening to give thanks to the county’s incredible volunteers and the work they do in Kent. Thank you to the Let Loose Gospel Community Choir, Kent Police Band and Rochester Cathedral Choir for providing such wonderful music throughout the evening and thank you to all the speakers and readers who represented Porchlight (charity), Kent Search And Rescue, The Baton of Hope, Protection Against Stalking, Rochester Cathedral, Maidstone United Football Club Raiders and the Kent Magistracy. Thank you to the brilliant Cadets who performed their duties professionally as always and a huge thank you to everyone at Rochester Cathedral for looking after us all so well. Finally, thank you to all the volunteers in Kent who give so selflessly for the good of others and of their communities, we are a strong county because of you.
