Deputy Lieutenant James Ryeland was delighted to visit the MTC National Christmas Camp held at Dover Citadel in December, marking a wonderful end to last year. During the visit, James spent time observing both staff and cadet training, gaining an insight into the impressive work carried out by the Corps. He also had the honour of presenting certificates of achievement to volunteers.
Our warm thanks to the Marine Training Corps for the invitation and for the excellent work they do to inspire and support young people across Kent.
The event was a valuable opportunity to meet the young people and those who guide them, and to see first‑hand the positive impact the MTC continues to have on its members.
