Deputy Lieutenant Mrs Georgie Warner was delighted to visit Mr Gerald Perryman on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent to mark the very special occasion of his 100th birthday. A proud Second World War veteran and longstanding member of the Royal British Legion Tunbridge Wells Branch, Gerald has led a life of incredible service and commitment. In addition to receiving a message from His Majesty The King, he was also honoured with a letter of thanks from General Sir Ronald Walker, Head of the British Army.
