We are delighted to announce today that three businesses in Kent have been awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise. Huge congratulations to Ocean Signal Ltd, Kentec Electronics Ltd and Charity Bank Ltd, whose outstanding achievements have been recognised by The King’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s most prestigious award for business excellence.

These Kent organisations have been recognised in the categories of Innovation, International Trade and Sustainability, and it is a pleasure to see their contributions acknowledged at national level, with the approval of His Majesty The King.

Lady Colgrain, The Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, looks forward to formally presenting the awards to each organisation later this year.

Applications for The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2027 are now open. The awards are free to enter and celebrate exceptional UK businesses and social enterprises across the categories of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainability and Social Mobility.  We are also excited that a new category recognising Young Founders has been introduced.
