Deputy Lieutenant Brigadier Peter Gilbert was pleased to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at The Not Forgotten Kent Garden Party, a wonderful event bringing together veterans and serving personnel for an afternoon of friendship, support and companionship.
The event provided an opportunity for members of the Armed Forces community to come together in a welcoming and supportive environment, reflecting the values at the heart of The Not Forgotten’s work.
As always, Brigadier Gilbert embraced the spirit of the occasion, joining guests in the celebrations and even taking part in the conga. The event also successfully raised £1,570, helping The Not Forgotten to continue its invaluable work supporting veterans and serving personnel living with injury, illness or isolation.
