Deputy Lieutenant Gill Fargher was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Gravesham South Asian Heritage Month Celebration, organised by Cohesion Plus.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the rich cultures, histories and contributions of South Asian communities across Gravesham and Kent, while bringing people together in a spirit of understanding, friendship and inclusion.
In her speech, Gill highlighted the importance of recognising and valuing the significant contribution that South Asian communities continue to make to local life and the strength they bring to communities across the county.
