Deputy Lieutenant Gill Fargher was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Kent Police Volunteer Awards held at Kent Police College.
The awards celebrated the outstanding contribution made by volunteers who support Kent Police in a wide range of roles across the county. Those recognised included Volunteer Police Cadet Leaders working with young people, Police Support Volunteers assisting the force in a variety of capacities, and Community Policing Volunteers who help prevent crime and engage with local communities.
The event provided an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication, commitment and professionalism of volunteers whose efforts make a valuable contribution to policing and community safety across Kent.
