Deputy Lieutenant, Major Dennis Bradley, was delighted to attend a socially distanced 100th birthday celebration for Colonel Edward Toms. Due to restrictions, Col Toms wasn’t able to celebrate as he would have liked but Hythe and Saltwood Royal British Legion ensured that this day to be celebrated didn’t go unmarked. Col Toms was also thrilled to receive a card from HM The Queen and a letter from HRH The Princess Royal.
Wishing Col Toms many happy returns, it was a pleasure to be a part of the celebrations.
