Deputy Lieutenant Frank Martin was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the Consecration Service of the Revd Canon Dr Jabson Watson, held at Christ Church, Broadstairs on 6 May.
Dr Watson, who has served within the Free Church of England since 2017 and is currently Minister at Christ Church Broadstairs, was consecrated as Bishop for the Anglican Church of India’s UK Mission. The service was presided over by Bishop Paul Hunt, Bishop Primus of the Free Church of England.
This significant occasion recognised Dr Watson’s dedication to ministry and his work in strengthening the partnership between the Anglican Church of India and the Free Church of England.
The Lieutenancy offers its warmest congratulations and best wishes to Dr Watson as he begins this new chapter of service.
