Deputy Lieutenant, Kate Fenwick, was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at an event to celebrate the expansion of Dandelion Time’s services in Ashford, marking an important development in the charity’s specialist therapeutic support for children and families across East Kent.
Dandelion Time works with children experiencing social, emotional and mental health difficulties, offering nature-based, sensory and hands-on activities designed to help families reconnect in calm and nurturing environments.
The new Ashford provision, delivered in partnership with The Pearce Coggan Foundation at Green Farm in Shadoxhurst, will increase capacity to support up to 150 children each year. It builds on the charity’s established services in Maidstone and Gravesham, responding to growing local need across the county.
Our warmest congratulations to everyone involved in this significant milestone.
