Deputy Lieutenant James Ryeland was pleased to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at a special service in Dover marking the Foundation Day of The Royal Regiment of Artillery.

Held at the historic St Mary’s in Castro, Dover Castle, the service brought together members of the Royal Artillery Association, Canterbury Branch, alongside civic guests including the Lord Mayor of Dover and the Leader of Dover Town Council.

Following the service, guests gathered for refreshments before attending a further act of remembrance at the Langdon Cliffs Memorial, providing an opportunity to reflect on the proud history and enduring service of The Royal Regiment of Artillery.

Our warmest thanks to all those involved in organising this important commemoration.
