Deputy Lieutenant Dr Sam Parrett was delighted to represent the Lord-Lieutenant at the HEDUCA Women, Girls & Youth Conference in Chatham.
Addressing delegates on behalf of Lady Colgrain, Dr Parrett praised HEDUCA and its partners for creating an important platform to raise awareness of women’s health issues, empower women and girls through education, and encourage open and meaningful conversations around topics that are too often overlooked.
Drawing on her extensive experience in education, Dr Parrett highlighted the vital role that knowledge, confidence and opportunity play in transforming lives, strengthening communities and enabling young people to fulfil their potential.
The conference brought together a range of speakers, panellists and attendees, providing valuable opportunities for discussion, learning and collaboration in support of women, girls and young people across Kent.
