Deputy Lieutenant Ann Millington was very pleased to represent the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent at the Tonbridge and District Scouts and Guides St George’s Day Parade, held at Tonbridge Castle.
The annual parade brought together young people and adult volunteers to celebrate their achievements, renew the Scouts and Guides Promise, and honour St George, the patron saint of Scouting. During the event, Ann was delighted to give a short address, congratulating all those involved for their dedication, teamwork and commitment to serving their communities.
It was a wonderful occasion, celebrating the values of friendship, service and leadership that continue to inspire generations of Scouts and Guides. Our thanks and congratulations to everyone involved in such a special event.
