The Lord-Lieutenant of Kent was pleased to be represented by Deputy Lieutenant Gurvinder Sandher at the recent Vaisakhi celebrations held at the Gurdwara in Gravesend.
Vaisakhi is a significant and joyful occasion in the Sikh calendar, and celebrations provided an opportunity to recognise the strong sense of community, faith and generosity demonstrated throughout the event.
