Miss Lynette Sargent receives her BEM from the Lord-Lieutenant for services to the Community in Shipbourne, Kent.

The Lord-Lieutenant held an investiture at Penshurst Place on Monday 16th September, 2013.

Mrs Janice Chapman from Tunbridge Wells being awarded her BEM from the Lord-Lieutenant, for services to Young People in Kent.

He awarded British Empire Medals on behalf of The Queen, to four of those nominated in Her Majesty The Queen’s Birthday Honours in June this year.

The ceremony was held in the Sunderland Room and attended by a number of relatives and friends of the recipients.

Geoff Wild, Clerk to the Lieutenancy, officiated at the ceremony.
