The Lord-Lieutenant was pleased to be invited to join the judging panel for the inaugural Compassionate Community Awards which recognised individuals who have helped their communities during the pandemic. 
The awards were organised by the Heart of Kent Hospice with Maidstone Borough Council and the Kent Messenger and the winners received their awards at a socially distanced ceremony at Maidstone Town Hall.
