The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to host a networking reception to mark the start of Inter Faith Week on 11 November. Lady Colgrain hosted this reception with one of her Deputy Lieutenants, Gurvinder Sandher ,who is the CEO of Kent Equality Cohesion Council. It was a wonderful opportunity for faith groups to come together, talk about their work, share their experiences and learn form their peers.
We were pleased to welcome representatives from over twenty faith organisations. We would like to thank the Chairman of Kent County Council, Bryan Sweetland, for allowing us the use of his rooms at County Hall for this event which we hope will become an annual occasion.
