The Lord-Lieutenant was delighted to attend the Kent Volunteer Police Cadets Passing Out Parade where 74 new Cadets ‘passed-out’ following their intensive new recruit course. Lady Colgrain thoroughly enjoyed meeting the new Police Cadets and talking to them about their roles and what they enjoy about being a Cadet.
The County Commissioner for the Volunteer Police Cadets, Gavin McKinnon OBE, said: “It was wonderful to have the Lord-Lieutenant come along and see our fantastic young people pass-out, and present a new shield to the recruit who showed the most effort in initial training. It is an unforgettable day for them and their families, made all that more special by having Lady Colgrain inspect them and inspire them to keep up their hard work, and their focus on serving others.”
The Lord-Lieutenant is very proud of the Police Cadets in the County and would like to congratulate them all.
